Executive pay at Massachusetts special-education schools

To compare the compensation of executives in private special education in Massachusetts, The Eye reviewed the financial reports of 107 programs qualified to receive state funds to pay student tuition.

Since many of the institutions spent most of their money on non-school services or had multiple programs around the country, we selected only organizations that used more than half their revenues to operate special-education schools with residential components in Massachusetts.
